You can clean your oilskin vest using a dry brush to remove dirt.

To wash, use only water as detergents will pull the protective oils out of the fabric. You can use 1/3 parts vinegar to warm water and soak before rinsing off to remove odour. Hang to dry in a warm location. Store in a closet away from bright light.
