Our Halfbreed Australian saddle is now built on our new synthetic saddle tree with adjustable gullet plates. This gives the rider the option to switch out the gullet plates to a different width.  This is helpful if their horse changes shape in the wither, or if they riding multiple horses.

Our Australian crossover saddle is the ultimate saddle for that comfortable ride, while providing close contact to your horse.  The saddle is built on an Australian saddle tree. It comes with short fenders, western stirrup leathers and a fleece panel to give it the look of a western saddle.

One of the advantages of riding in our crossover saddle, is in it’s suspended web-designed seat over the hard seat of a western saddle. This type of seat gives a rider hours of comfort in the saddle. As well, you will notice that there is no break-in period to achieve that comfortable fit. The design of the seat provides less stress on the hip joints as it doesn’t spread the hips.

And it is Lightweight!

An advantage of the saddle is in it’s lightweight design. Part of what makes the Australian Crossover Saddle lighter, is it doesn’t have the longer flap like a traditional Australian saddle with the stuffed panel. This crossover saddle along with the stirrups weighs between 19 and 23 lbs.

Quality hardware along with supple nubuck leather give this saddle a very classy look. Saddle comes with western fenders and stirrups. It does not include a girth and add ons are not applicable

Please note the sizing is Australian seat sizing. The Equivalent to a Western saddle is as follows: 

16″ = 14″ Western.

17″ = 15″ Western.

18″ = 16″ Western.

19″ = 17″ Western
