The Bad Dog Ranch Australian Halfbreed saddle is an Australian crossover saddle combining the comfort of the Australian seat and saddle using an Australian tree with the fleece panel, and short side fenders of the western saddle. The advantage of this crossover saddle is it’s suspended web-designed seat instead of a hard seat like so many western style saddles have. There is no break-in period to achieve that comfortable fit in the seat.

The saddle is a very lightweight design. Including the stirrups and the seat size, this saddle is between 19 and 23 lbs. And like our other models, the gullet is adjustable which gives us the ability to fit the gullet to your horse’s gullet width.

Saddle comes with western fenders and stirrups. It does not include a girth and add ons are not applicable

Quality hardware and supple nubuck leather gives this saddle a very classy feel.

Please note the sizing is Australian seat sizing. The Equivalent to a Western saddle is as follows: 

16″ = 14″ Western.

17″ = 15″ Western.

18″ = 16″ Western.

19″ = 17″ Western
