The Stockman’s Australian breastplate is made from a softer, durable high quality leather.

Fitted with an additional snap at the chest, this allows the breastplate to be taken off or put on quickly and easily! Breastplates are designed to help keep you saddle in place and prevent the saddle from sliding back while riding uphill. Along with a crupper, the breastplate will help to keep your saddle balanced.

Note that all breastplates are now in Brown with black stitching and stainless steel hardware. Black with black stitching and stainless steel hardware.
